ReBuilder Medical

ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. has been successfully inventing, developing, manufacturing, and distributing medical devices for 5 years via the internet. The company is now expanding its marketing to reach beyond the internet to include physician's offices and late night TV infomercials.

The company is about to roll out its new line of personal hygiene products for those who suffer with diabetes.

The company is also performing R&D on two new devices, one to make veins "pop out" to make it easier for nurses to draw blood samples and another to detect allergies electronically.

The company is headed by David B. Phillips, Ph.D. who has a successful 30 year history of inventing medical devices that include the first infrared ear thermometer (FirsTemp), the GST System for Breast Cancer Detection, and other medical innovations.

Sales for 2007 have been double each month over the same period in 2006. Current sales volume is at the rate of $3 million annually.

ReBuilder Medical Inc. is a multi-disciplinary medical device company specializing in neuropathy, molluscum and diabetes.

Our History

ReBuilder Medical Technologies, Inc. began business with the ReBuilder® as Micro Med, Inc. of Vermont in 1985. We began manufacturing ReBuilders® in 1987 (after 2 years R&D) when the device was first introduced to help Dr. Phillips' father recover from open heart coronary bypass surgery. His father complained more from the leg incision (to remove the greater saphenous vein for grafting material) than from the chest incision. The ReBuilder was successfully registered with the FDA in 1987 in two categories, TENS and EMS separately, under the 510K registration process. MicroMed was merged into ReBuilder Medical, Inc. in 2001. Dr. Phillips continues as the official FDA correspondent with the FDA. The FDA has no complaints registered against the ReBuilder nor ReBuilder Medical, Inc.

The ReBuilder® has undergone many improvements and versions over the years and was enhanced to help peripheral artery disease in 1995. In 2001, when we reorganized, and moved the company to West Virginia, we optimized the ReBuilder® to help patients with neuropathy when previous users reported that they had loaned their units to diabetic patients with neuropathy and it had helped them. When we discovered how many people suffer from peripheral neuropathy, we redirected our focus to solving the mystery of peripheral neuropathy. The current 2407 model incorporates the latest technology. The ReBuilder® has a patent application pending (10/823,774) for its unique waveform that merges TENS and EMS with an exact copy of a healthy nerve signal.

The company's second profit center is marketed via the internet at http://www.molluscum.com. This is a device and associated skin products to cure the skin disease Molluscum Contagiosum, a condition that presents as skin lesions similar to acne. Dr. Phillips invented this system to treat his granddaughter's Molluscum in 2002. A disease of the skin in humans and a similar condition in horses, macropods and chimpanzees caused by a virus in the genus Molluscipoxvirus. It is characterized by the formation of firm, rounded, translucent, crateriform papules containing caseous matter that occur mainly on the muzzle, penis, prepuce, and axillary and inguinal skin in horses. The lesions are usually an incidental finding.

Our Market

Twenty million, eight hundred thousand children and adults, or 7% of the U.S. population suffer from diabetes. Thirty percent of those diagnosed with diabetes will eventually suffer from peripheral neuropathy, pain and numbness in the feet and hands that can lead to complete loss of mobility, gangrene, and eventual amputations. $132 Billion per year is the current cost of treating diabetes, or 1 of every 10 health care dollars spent.  Neuropathy sufferers constitute 33% of this market, or 43.56 billion dollars in potential market.  ReBuilder Medical, Inc. is a company in its infancy that has targeted 10% of this market, or, 435 million dollars in its next two market years, and is on course to meet this goal. Its only competition is from drug companies.

A disorder of the peripheral nervous system. It may be genetic or acquired, progress quickly or slowly, involve motor, sensory, and/or autonomic (see autonomic nervous system) nerves, and affect only certain nerves or all of them. It can cause pain or loss of sensation, weakness, paralysis, loss of reflexes, muscle atrophy, or, in autonomic neuropathies, disturbances of blood pressure, heart rate, or bladder and bowel control; impotence; and inability to focus the eyes. Some types damage the neuron itself, others the myelin sheath that insulates it. Examples include carpal tunnel syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, poliomyelitis, and shingles. Causes include diseases (e.g., diabetes mellitus, leprosy, syphilis), injury, toxins, and vitamin deficiency

Our Mission

Our mission here is simple. Helping people who suffer from niche diseases, and providing a healthy financial return for our stockholders. From the ear thermometer to breast cancer detection to molluscum treatment, to helping people manage their diabetes, our focus has been the improving of people's lives through the application of innovative technology.

Our Products

We currently have a diverse product line offered through 3 main areas.

The ReBuilder for Neuropathy

Our original focus since the company was founded is still today our biggest division. Through research and innovation our original ReBuilder has seen several improvements and upgrades as well as a complete line of complimentary products to enhance the effectiveness of the ReBuilder treatment

The Phillips Molluscum Treatment System for Molluscum

Beginning in 2002 we began to develop treatments for a contagious skin infection called Molluscum Contagiosum. We currently manufacture, market, and sell a complete line of treatment products designed to address and heal this disease.

Personal Hygiene products for diabetics.

We have developed a complete line of products for people who suffer from diabetes. Soon to be released, this line utilizes our proprietary micronized amorphos silver ionsbased technology. Included are mouthwash, bar soap, body wash, shampoo, infection ointment, flexible bandage, lip balm, and deodorant.

Our Future

We are performing R&D to finalize an electronic allergy detection system and another to offer a pocket sized instrument to make it easier for a nurse to draw blood samples.
